If you are an experienced freelance translator, we would be very interested in hearing from you. 

Please note that in order to be included on our books, all translators must meet the following criteria:

 

Language - Applicants must translate only into a language that is their mother tongue or language of habitual use (usually one language).

Please note that applicants who state to translate into more than one target language will not be considered unless they can demonstrate they have the requisite skills and that they have equal competence in all languages.
 

Qualifications – a degree level qualification in translation. 

Applicants will be considered without a degree if they can demonstrate a minimum of 6 years’ relevant professional experience in translation and are an accredited member of UK and/or European translator associations.

 

Experience - A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in translation with evidence of substantial experience working in your specialist industry field.

 

References - Applicants must provide a minimum of 2 professional references.  References should be from your main work providers and must demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (i.e. referees must have known the applicant for at least 1 year).
